9-9-9, meet 20-20!
Perry’s plan is finally going to see the light of day, and it’s a pretty good one: WSJ: My Tax and Spending Reform Plan
Not only a flat tax, but no consumption (read: VAT) and it caps spending at 18% of GDP, where it should be anyway. We never wind up taking much more in, and any excess only hurts the economy. Eliminates the Death Tax, too. This has all the ooomph of 9-9-9, without it’s most glaring failure, the pseudo VAT. Perry gets this one right.
Now if we could just package this plan up with Cain’s attitude and presence in front of the camera.
