Edit: Had to put this one on the main post, thanks Aggie!
He Carried Yellow Flowers:

His speech at the Ames Straw Poll, best of the day (I attended).

I Am America

Remember Who We Are

If Cain gets the nomination, we’ll get to see more of Krista. That’s a great thing. Remember Who We Are should be the GOP theme song.

We keep our faith
When there is no way out
When there is little hope
We show no doubt
We go the distance
No matter how hard

    Hi Jay!
Cain lost me a little a while back, Perry lost me this week.
….I might go back to Cain. Maybe?

They’ll never be able to call conservatives racists again if Cain wins the election. Now just how cool would that be?

    • September 24, 2011 at 10:49 pm

He’s not black, he’s an uncle tom.
Just ask Clarence Thomas and Condi Rice.

Cain would be cool Not my first choice, but none of the current crop is. Not Perry, not Palin, not even Teh Fred.

I look forward to the establishment GOP telling us he can’t be pres because he’s not smooth.
      Like Mitt.

I think the next pres is going to have to deal with a lot of crap, we need someone who is isn’t afraid to tick off all the right people.
I just hope if he wins he gets someone really good for State and Sec Def, cuz the world is getting ready to blow up and might have blown up before the election.
I still think our friends in Iran, Russia, China and their proxies are going to do something before Obama is gone. They need his special brand of ignorance, weakness and American hatred to allow them to get away with their imperial ambitions.

That was the money shot, right there! And if he can show a willingness to strengthen up his weaker areas by appointing quality folks to his cabinate (Sec Def and State are great examples), we could have something here. Time will tell.

I see lots of people pushing Byron York’s article basically calling Cain a Republican Obama.

You know, cuz Cain is an inexperienced, marxist, chicago-machine pol just like Obama.

Except of course that Cain is not inexperienced, he’s an experienced executive who has never put “community organizer” in his resume. .
    He’s not a marxist.
    He’s not a chicago-machine pol.

He’s a black man who can speak well, so…Obama.
    Connect the dots folks!

You know who this helps according to the NRO folks? That’s right. Mitt.

They did not learn a thing from 08. They pushed Mitt hard. Once Benito starting going strong they pushed the God card and almost got Huckabee instead of Mitt and so, we ended up with McCain.
It’s funny how our intellectual betters never seem to learn anything.
Republicans outside NYC and the Beltway do not want Mitt. No way no how. He’s an unprincipled tool who is not a career pol only because he keeps losing elections.

I personally think that nominating Mitt is the best way to get Obama re-elected. I’m not saying that’s what will happen, but that’s the best chance Obama has.

I used to respect Byron York, a lot. But he’s really attacking the wrong Republicans in his columns lately. He’s really hard to read, now. He’s got establishment written all over him, at this time.

Don’t forget his questions in the debate!

NRO wants Mitt. If you read everything they write with that in mind it makes more sense.
